Join the Fight AFib Community
If you or someone you love has been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation (AFib), you probably have questions.
Why did this happen?
What treatments actually work?
Do I need an ablation?
Is this dangerous?
Unfortunately, many patients leave their appointments with more questions than answers.
That’s why I created the Fight AFib Community.
This private Facebook group brings together people from around the world who want clear, trustworthy education about atrial fibrillation, along with a supportive place to connect with others experiencing the same condition.

Inside the Fight AFib Community
When you join the group, you’ll have access to:
• Educational posts and videos explaining AFib in plain language
• Insights from cardiac electrophysiologist Dr. Yasser Rodriguez
• Discussions about symptoms, medications, ablation, and lifestyle changes
• Updates on new AFib research and treatment advances
• A supportive network of people living with AFib
This is a place where patients can learn, ask questions, and better understand their heart rhythm condition.
Why I Created Fight AFib
I’m Dr. Yasser Rodriguez, a board-certified cardiac electrophysiologist specializing in atrial fibrillation and complex heart rhythm disorders.
Over the course of my career, I’ve authored more than 30 peer-reviewed scientific publications and book chapters in cardiovascular medicine and completed advanced electrophysiology training at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, a major Harvard teaching hospital.
One thing I’ve learned from treating thousands of patients is this:
Many people with AFib simply don’t have access to clear, understandable information about their condition.
Fight AFib was created to change that.
Through this community, my website, and my YouTube channel, my goal is to help patients better understand:
• What atrial fibrillation really is
• What causes AFib episodes
• The latest treatment options
• When procedures like ablation make sense
• How to protect long-term heart health
Join the Fight AFib Community
If you want to:

✔ Learn about the latest AFib treatments
✔ Connect with others facing the same condition

We invite you to join the community.
Continue Learning
In addition to the community, you can also explore more AFib education through the Fight AFib YouTube channel, where Dr. Rodriguez shares videos explaining atrial fibrillation, heart rhythm science, and modern treatment options.
These videos are designed to help patients better understand their condition and make informed decisions about their care.
